Decide who will see these photos

There are children in the baptism pictures. There are faces of people who never asked in the convention ones. That is why most church albums never go out.

Private album
The album stays inside the management space. That is where you sort, drop the blurry shots and remove what you would rather not show.
Who can open it
Only your church team, the people with permission.
The setting decides visibility, not consent. Before publishing an album where people are recognisable, you need their agreement - and their guardians' for children.
Per-album visibility, the green or orange pill on the thumbnail, the photo count and switching from private to public exist as shown. The album is an example.

The baptism photos exist. They are in three phones, and nobody can find them.

The problem

Your photos already exist, and they are lost

Three people photographed the same service. The images sit in three phones, a group chat that crushed them, and a USB stick nobody can find.

They live in phones
The person who took them goes on holiday, changes device, leaves the church. The photos leave with them.
Group chats damage them
A photo sent to a group comes back compressed, stripped of its date, buried under three hundred messages.
Nothing is findable a year later
With no album and no date, finding March's baptism photos means scrolling through an entire camera roll.

The argument

One switch per album, not per photo

Visibility belongs to the album. That is what makes the only safe method practical: start private, sort, then publish.

You start private
The album never leaves the management space. Upload everything, sort calmly, remove what should not go out.
You publish when it is ready
The album switches to public and appears on your church's public page. A green pill flags it on the thumbnail.
Nothing is final
A public album goes back to private in two clicks. You can change your mind - exactly what you need when someone asks to be removed.
What the setting does not do

A switch collects no consent

Making an album public is a one-click technical decision. The agreement of the people in the pictures is not a click - and it is your church it commits.

Ask before publishing
A recognisable person in a public photo has the right to know, and to refuse. The module will not ask on your behalf.
Children need explicit agreement
For a minor, agreement comes through their guardians. When in doubt the album stays private: it is the cheapest setting.
Remove a photo, not the album
If someone changes their mind, their photo is deleted on its own. The rest of the album carries on.

What this module does, and what it does not

A short list beats a broad promise. Here are both, without rounding.

What it does
  • Organise your photos by album, with their date and who uploaded them.
  • Decide album by album what is public and what stays internal.
  • Show at a glance what is exposed, with a pill on the thumbnail.
  • Publish an album on your church's public page, and take it back down.
What it does not do
  • We do not blur faces, and we do not recognise anyone automatically.
  • We do not ask photographed people for their agreement: that stays your responsibility.
  • This is not a backup of your originals: keep your source files on your side.
