A directory is not a list of addresses. It is your church's memory: who still comes, who serves, who gives, who has been written to. Sanctumel gathers those answers on a single record.

Each block appears only if you may see it in its own module. A secretary fixing an address does not see the giving.
A congregation is not a list. But without the list, you forget who did not come.
Each of these blocks is fed by a module that actually ships. Nothing is simulated: this is the same data as your Departments, Finance and Communications screens.

The information already existed, scattered. It only asked to be placed where it belongs: in front of the person it concerns.
A directory that stays true
A membership file decays on its own: duplicates, rights that are too broad, records nobody dares touch any more. Those three are handled.
What we do, and what we will not do
A member record touches the most sensitive thing a church holds. Better to say straight away where ours stops.
- Gather onto the record what the other modules already know
- Refuse server-side whatever you may not see
- Say how many rows are not shown, and where to find them in full
- Merge duplicates without losing the history
- Record a gift from a member record: accounting has one door, and two accounting truths are worth less than one
- Score or rank people: we compute no engagement score
- Resell or exploit your data: it stays your church's
